I chipped off a section of cedar kerfing and tried to glue it back on with thin CA. But the glue never set up. Is this a problem with cedar? With the thin CA? Do I need an accelerator? Maybe the gluing surface was too coarse. What's up?

Eric

P.S. I glued it back on with white glue.ejones38425.6535648148

water thin CA? Maybe it is all soaking into the grain. Try shooting one side with a little accelerator and using a slightly thicker viscosity of CA.

Also, make sure the pieces fit tight.
